Frazer Nash was founded in Britain by engineer Archibald Frazer-Nash in 1922 as an evolution of the GN cyclecar. After the original company's financial collapse, AFN Limited under H. J. Aldington continued the marque, producing small numbers of distinctive chain-drive sports cars before the Second World War and conventional-transmission Bristol-engined cars after it. Automobile production ended in 1957, although AFN continued as a BMW and Porsche representative and later passed to Porsche. The catalog keeps the car marque separate from the modern Frazer-Nash engineering and consultancy businesses and from unrelated Nash automobile companies.
