Flocken is the vehicle identity associated with German inventor and factory owner Andreas Flocken in Coburg. In 1888 his Maschinenfabrik A. Flocken added electrical engineering work and built the Flocken Elektrowagen, a four-wheeled battery vehicle often described as one of the earliest practical electric cars. The vehicle was a pioneering experiment and small workshop product rather than a sustained passenger-car company with a broad model range. The catalog retains Flocken as a distinct early electric identity and does not merge it with later German EV manufacturers or with Andreas Flocken's wider machinery business.
