The Fittipaldi identity covers two separated Brazilian projects led by Wilson and Emerson Fittipaldi. The brothers established the Copersucar-backed Formula One operation in 1974; it raced from 1975 through 1982 under Copersucar, Fittipaldi Automotive and Skol Fittipaldi names, building cars such as the F5, F7, F8 and F9. Emerson later founded Fittipaldi Motors, which presented the Pininfarina- and HWA-developed EF7 in 2017 as a planned track-only sports car, but the proposed production run was canceled and the company became inactive in 2019. The catalog does not imply continuous corporate production between those eras.
