The Vienna concern began as Adolf Felber in 1923, manufacturing motorcycle sidecars and trailers before becoming A. Felber & Co. Designer Ernst Marold developed its first automobile in 1952: a doorless reverse-tricycle Autoroller with a rear-hinged roof-and-window canopy. A 350 cc prototype preceded roughly 400 production T 400 and TL 400 cars with 398 cc Rotax twins. Hofmann & Moldrich coachbuilt ten or twelve Möve coupés on the same chassis in 1953–1954. Automobile production ceased in 1954, although Felber continued trading three-wheelers and manufacturing Austromat industrial washing machines.
