Farboud Limited was founded in Newmarket, England, in 1999 by Arash Farboud. It developed the Farboud GT and the mid-engined Farboud GTS, the latter appearing publicly in the early 2000s as a proposed low-volume sports car. In 2006 the company was renamed Arash Motor Company; the GTS design later passed through Farbio and became the Ginetta F400. The catalog records Farboud as the predecessor identity rather than merging it with Arash, Farbio or Ginetta, and treats the 2006 rename as the endpoint of the Farboud marque.
