ElDorado National developed from an American bus-body business founded in 1979 and became a major producer of cutaway, low-floor and heavy-duty transit buses. Operations were divided between California and Kansas product lines under Thor Industries and later REV Group. Its vehicles have served municipal transit, airport, hotel and paratransit fleets.
