About the marque
Founded
1990 – 2016
Headquarters
Lublin, Poland

DZT Tymińscy was a Polish automotive-parts company founded in 1990. It acquired the former Honker plant and production rights in 2008–09 and resumed assembly of the Daewoo Honker 2000 and related Honker utility vehicles at Lublin under the DZT identity. The program continued the lineage of the Polish Tarpan Honker through earlier FSR, Daewoo Motor Polska, Andoria-Mot and Intrall phases, but DZT is recorded as the later rights holder and manufacturer rather than as those predecessor marques. DZT entered bankruptcy and ceased this vehicle activity in 2016. The catalog therefore treats DZT Tymińscy as a distinct Polish industrial and vehicle identity, with Honker 2000 as its documented road-vehicle program.
