Background

The F10/F20/F50/F60 series Daihatsu Taft is an off-road vehicle built by Daihatsu between 1974 and 1984. It was also sold as the Wildcat in Australia, and Scat in Germany and some other European markets. The Taft is similar to the Suzuki Jimny, although a bit larger. The name "Taft" stands for "'Tough and Almighty Four-wheel Touring Vehicle".
