Cyklon9/40 PS
Cyklon's modern conventional six-cylinder, designed under director Dr. Eisner and built in small numbers at Mylau before/alongside identical Dixi 9/40 PS cars. The pressed-steel chassis used rigid axles on half-elliptic springs and mechanical four-wheel brakes. Ambi-Budd supplied the all-steel saloon body also associated with Adler Standard 6; later references add roadster and Karmann cabriolet, while a 1928 period advertisement directly confirms the saloon and phaeton at RM 6,950 and RM 6,350. Dixi distribution and identical Dixi badging do not turn every Dixi into a Cyklon or vice versa.
Dates with their meaning intact
This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
Contemporary and later histories agree sales were modest, but no trustworthy Cyklon/Dixi brand split or chassis total survives.
