The Columbia identity in this catalog is the modern Columbia Vehicle Group, not an attempt to merge the late-nineteenth-century Columbia Automobile Company with a later electric-vehicle business. Columbia's own history dates the vehicle operation to 1946 and places its current manufacturing headquarters at a large facility in Aiken, South Carolina. The company describes a product focus on pure-electric commercial and industrial work vehicles and recreational low-speed vehicles, with the Columbia ParCar heritage visible in service documentation and the broader Nordic Group of Companies behind the business. NHTSA's manufacturer record identifies Columbia Vehicle Group and lists Eagle, Earlier NEV Series, Journeyman, Mega, MVP, Summit, Utilitruck, Utility and Venture labels.
