CofersaMicrocar Project
Cofersa's sole automobile project, announced in 1956 at a proposed price of 35,000 pesetas. Sources describe seating for two or three and cautiously associate it with the 197 cc Hispano Villiers engine already used in the company's motorcycle range. No authenticated prototype, registration, chassis number, road test, photograph-derived specification, production tooling or customer delivery has been established. It is therefore classified as an announced microcar project/prototype, not as production, while Cofersa's 125, 197/200, JM and Helix motorcycles remain outside the automobile model catalog.
Dates with their meaning intact
This record contains useful sourced evidence, but it does not yet meet the reference-ready standard. Still needed: attributed imagery. Fields we cannot source stay empty rather than guessed.
Period advertising presented the project, but no evidence confirms a completed series-production vehicle or any sales.
