Classic Replicas Limited was a British kit-car and low-volume vehicle company founded by Ken Cook in Bournemouth in 1989. Its best-known product was the Viper, an AC Cobra replica offered in complete and kit forms on Ford, Jaguar, Rover and Chevrolet-related mechanical bases; a lower-cost Viper 4 variant shared the same replica concept. The company later offered the smaller Cub, renamed Mule, a Mini-based open leisure vehicle. Classic Replicas acquired Dorset Motor Services in 1993, but the catalog does not assume that every earlier or later Dorset model became a Classic Replicas product. Production ended in 2002 after roughly 200 vehicles across the documented programs. A separate Classic Replicas (UK) operation used the name later, so the catalog preserves the Bournemouth company as a time-bounded marque and distinguishes it from later businesses and from the original AC and Mini donor makes.
