Chrysler UK was the British arm created as Chrysler phased out the Rootes Group corporate identity in the 1970s. It built and sold former Hillman, Sunbeam and Humber-derived vehicles alongside Chrysler-badged models such as the Avenger. The operation became part of PSA's acquisition of Chrysler Europe in 1978, and its products and dealer network transitioned to the revived Talbot name.
