Chongqing Huanghe / Massimo is an NHTSA-combined make label rather than evidence of one uninterrupted consumer marque. The underlying Chinese manufacturer, Chongqing Huanghe Motorcycle Co., Ltd., is reported as a Chongqing maker of motorcycles, fuel and electric tricycles, parts and related machinery; company material describes the Huanghe motorcycle name as originating in the 1970s and documents later expansion into export and racing activity. Separate Massimo branding appears in the same regulatory make bucket, so the catalog does not silently turn every Massimo product into a Huanghe model or claim a corporate merger that the available record does not prove. NHTSA's register supplies the model-name layer—Caofen, Fly, Horwin, Huanghe, KSR, Leopard, Luna, Massimo, Nati, Smile, Soco, Start, Tank, Time, USS, Vera and Way—but not a complete chronology or production ledger.
