Only documented Chimo automobile family. Customotive Inc. began production at Saint-Laurent, Quebec in 1980, moved to Ottawa in 1985, and Image Inc. of Smiths Falls continued the design from 1985 until approximately 1988. Its one-piece fiberglass body was described as unusually novel for Canadian manufacture and by one source as resembling the Jaguar XJ-S, but it was not a Jaguar replica. Volkswagen, Ford V6 and Mazda rotary installations were customer/build configurations, not separately named factory models. A later surviving body reportedly carried an electric motor, but there is no evidence for a factory electric variant.
