Camelot identifies Camelot Motors, the Michigan replica-car company that acquired Shay Motors' assets and rights after Shay entered bankruptcy. Beginning in 1983, Camelot produced authentic-looking Model A roadster and pick-up replicas and related Thunderbird replicas from facilities in Michigan, using the acquired program as a base while making engineering and equipment changes. Production continued only for a short period, with surviving histories placing the end around 1986. The catalog's Model A label is therefore a replica-car identity, not a new Ford model or a continuation of Ford's original 1928–31 production. Camelot is also kept separate from Monaco's later Camelot Class A motorhome model and from Glassic, Clenet and other replica makers. The public record supports the asset-transfer and limited production history but not a complete Camelot serial-number or output register.
