California Scooter Company was founded in California by Steve Seidner in 2008 with guidance from former Mustang production manager Jim Cavanaugh. It initially developed small motorcycles inspired by the compact Mustang machines once built in Glendale. The business evolved into CSC Motorcycles and broadened its direct-to-consumer range with imported street, dual-sport, adventure and electric motorcycles while retaining the California Scooter lineage.
