After ending BEB electric-car production, Hermann Busse's Magdeburg concern operated as Busse-Werke. It introduced Busse-badged delivery tricycles in 1924 or around 1925 by converting motorcycle architecture: one wheel led, a two-wheel axle supported either an open platform or closed cargo box, and a 143 cc DKW two-stroke supplied 2.5 hp. The 250 kg payload vehicle's small engine allowed licence-free operation under contemporary rules. Motorcycle production ceased in 1926 and the firm was struck from the register in 1927; the commercial badge is kept separate from BEB.
