Ben Sparham founded B & S Sports Cars at Birmingham in 1988 after acquiring two projects from Edward Waddington Motors. Vehicles carried the compact BS badge. Both were inexpensive Ford Cortina-powered roadsters aimed at the same market as Dutton: the Roadster continued the EWM Brigand and found approximately six buyers, while the Sprint succeeded the EWM Buccaneer and accounted for about two. The enterprise ended in 1989 after roughly eight vehicles, making these two model records its complete documented output.
