Michael Moore founded the Leighton Buzzard business in 1972 as a Jaguar parts specialist. Automobile and kit production began in 1993 under the Broomstick badge. Its only model, the BS 120, recreated the Jaguar XK 120 with a fiberglass body on a ladder chassis and extensive Jaguar donor components. Thirty-six examples were produced before vehicle manufacture ended in 1999. The underlying parts and motor-trade business continued, so 1999 marks the close of the marque's manufacturing period rather than the corporate dissolution.
