Packard and Peerless engineer William A. Hatcher joined Francis O. Brew in Cleveland in 1903 to supply automobile components, then used those parts to create the Brew-Hatcher or B & H car shown at the January 1904 Chicago Automobile Show. The first Two was a 16 hp opposed-twin five-seater with rear-entry tonneau; a longer side-entry version followed in 1905 alongside the four-cylinder 18/24 hp Four Model C. Brew retired to the Internal Revenue Service in autumn 1905 and car production ended. The two wheelbase generations and the Four comprise the complete known range.
