Engineer Honoré Auguste Gustave Bozier founded his Neuilly-sur-Seine enterprise in 1898 around an innovative transmission system, tricars and automotive components, then moved to a new Puteaux works in 1901. Electric voiturettes preceded the first four-wheel gasoline car, the 1906 4½ CV with a 344 cc De Dion-Bouton single, in-house three-speed gearbox and shaft drive. Twin- and four-cylinder offerings followed, expanding from four distinct four-cylinder types in 1912 to five displacement-defined families from 1,725 to 3,600 cc in 1913. Production ended in 1920. Fourteen individually specified or source-grouped mechanical families account for every type retained by the surviving summaries without inventing names for the four anonymous 1912 variants.
