Bohanna Stables Ltd. was an independent English automotive-design and construction office founded in 1972 by Peter Bohanna and Robin Stables at High Wycombe. The partners first developed the mid-engined Diablo prototype, whose engineering path led to the AC 3000ME, but that AC production is not a Bohanna Stables model. From 1975 to 1977 the company briefly became a vehicle producer with the BS Nymph, an open, doorless, four-seat leisure vehicle using Hillman Imp mechanical components and a plastic body. About 42 Nymphs are commonly reported, most as kits and only a small number as complete cars. Bohanna Stables was wound up in 1977. The catalog keeps the Nymph under its design-and-production company, distinguishes kits from completed vehicles, and does not absorb the later AC 3000ME into the Bohanna Stables marque.
