BMC

BMC is the commonly used initials and product identity of the British Motor Corporation, created by the 1952 merger of Austin and Morris. In model history the BMC name is especially associated with shared engineering programs and ADO project codes, including the ADO16 and ADO17 families sold under multiple constituent marques. The BMC corporate identity ended after the 1968 formation of British Leyland, although its designs continued in production.
