Black Prince Motors of Barnard Castle, County Durham, produced a small number of four-wheel cyclecars during 1920. H. G. Wright's unusual design used wood for both chassis and open body, relying on the structure's flexibility instead of normal springs. Buyers could choose single- or twin-cylinder air-cooled Union engines, both rated at 2.75 hp, and either two-speed belt drive or optional gearing. At least two cars survive, although total manufacture is unknown. The single cyclecar family is unrelated to Invicta's postwar Black Prince luxury model and to motorcycle badges sharing the name.
