Anthony Argyle founded Berkeley Motor Company at Syston in 1991, deliberately reviving the historic Berkeley name. Its Bandini recreated the T60 three-wheeler with Mini-based or alternative power, while early Volkswagen Beetle-based Countach replicas broadened the catalog. Dave Ratner acquired the concern in 1996, renamed it Berkeley Developments and moved to Nottinghamshire; the ADO35-inspired Camerotta followed in 2000. About seven Bandinis and six Camerottas are reported, with Countach numbers unseparated. Production ended in 2002. The founding year qualifies this revival from the unrelated original Berkeley Cars lineage.
