BEMAC is primarily a Japanese electrical-engineering company, but its admitted vehicle identity is the 68VM Passenger electric tricycle. BEMAC says its EV work began in 2012, the first prototype was completed in 2013, and the production 68VM was developed in Japan and manufactured through the company's Philippine operation. The three-wheeled vehicle was designed for local public-transport use, uses a 5 kW AC motor and lithium-ion batteries, and seats six passengers plus the driver in the cataloged passenger configuration. Philippine assembly and local regulatory programs are part of the vehicle's actual history, not a separate Philippine BEMAC marque; similarly, BEMAC's wider marine and electrical-equipment businesses are not vehicle models. The catalog keeps BEMAC's corporate identity separate from its 68VM product and avoids presenting the EV program's 2012 start as the founding date of the parent company.
