Derek Bell founded Bell Performance at Haywards Heath in 2000 to build cars and kits under his own company name. Its sole model was the T 70 Coupé, a closed replica of Lola's celebrated T70 sports racer derived from the earlier GTD concept. Bell relocated the operation to Upper Soudley, Gloucestershire, in 2004. Customer powertrains could vary; Bell's own track example used a roughly 500 hp Chevrolet small-block V8. Around five cars were produced before manufacture ceased in 2007.
