Hugo Ruppe established Berliner Kleinmotoren AG—Bekamo—in 1922 to produce motorcycles and his mechanically scavenged two-stroke engines. Early motorcycles famously used ash-wood frames before switching to steel, and racing successes publicized the powerplants. Bekamo also built a front-single-wheel commercial tricycle, taking over the earlier Wesnigk design around 1924–1925; its 4.5 hp engine carried roughly 250 kg. German manufacture ended in 1925 while related Rumburk production and engine work continued to 1929. Only the delivery tricycle enters this road-vehicle catalog; motorcycles and loose engines are explicitly outside scope.
