Bee Bee

Bee Bee Automotive was created from cooperation between Le Mans engineering specialist Beta Epsilon and automotive supplier VT2I, building on Michel Lecomte and Bruno Miot's earlier electric leisure-car concept. The company developed a road-homologated modular platform and publicly launched the Bee Bee XS at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Designed in Le Mans and assembled in the Vosges, the open four-seat XS combined an aluminium chassis, recyclable molded-plastic body, centrally mounted electric motor and lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, targeting hotels, rental fleets, resorts and last-mile mobility rather than conventional mass retail. Bee Bee registered the XS and Treck names and proposed BeeHive utility chassis, but accessible evidence establishes customer production only for the XS, so unused names are not invented as models. After judicial reorganization began in 2018, liquidation was ordered in March 2019 with temporary continued activity; MILLA acquired the operating assets that May and later reused the homologated Bee Bee chassis for autonomous shuttle development. Bee Bee Automotive was struck from the register after liquidation proceedings closed in 2021, while marque vehicle production belongs to the 2016–2019 period.
