Founded: 1906 – 1912
Headquarters: Herstal, Belgium

Théo Pescatore's Herstal enterprise commercialized Henri Pieper's combined gasoline-electric drive from 1906. A four-cylinder engine drove a dynamo linked to accumulators and electric traction, with 2/24 hp and 30 hp passenger-car versions documented. A Daimler-Knight sleeve-valve chassis appeared in 1909. From 1910 the company emphasized trucks and 34-seat London buses whose independently motorized rear wheels eliminated the differential and cleared the aisle. The Auto-Mixte name changed to Pescatore in 1912, and the First World War ended the successor operation before the works passed to Gillet.
