Autech Classic Cars began producing complete cars and kits at Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, in 1985. Its only design was a close Jaguar C-Type reproduction distinguished by an aluminum open two-seat body and a choice of 3.4- or 3.8-litre Jaguar XK six-cylinder engines. Approximately twenty examples were supplied before production ended in 1988. The British Autech marque has no connection to Autech Japan, Nissan's specialty-vehicle subsidiary, and its replicas are not counted as original Jaguar production.
