Daniel Augé et Cie built cars at Levallois-Perret from 1898 until about 1901. Early engines used hot platinum tubes heated by a single lamp, inspiring the Cyclope name sometimes applied to the entire vehicle. Electric ignition arrived after 1899 on the horizontal 4 hp twin, and later catalogues listed 5, 7 and 8 hp horizontal or vertical engines. Power passed by belts to a countershaft and then by chains to the wheels. Customers could choose four-seat dos-à-dos or three-seat troika bodies before the short-lived concern disappeared.
