The postwar French Atlas project developed a miniature automobile initially called La Coccinelle and presented it as the Atlas Babycar in 1951. Its molded fiberglass body seated two people, while an exceptionally small 175 cc single-cylinder engine was credited with a maximum speed above 40 mph. Sources do not establish sustained production or additional factory models. The badge is therefore represented by this one prototype or very-low-volume microcar and distinguished from numerous unrelated Atlas vehicles and manufacturers.
