The French Aster concern founded its Italian affiliate in Milan in 1906 to sell engines and establish licensed local automobile manufacture. Complete cars were made only in small numbers, and surviving encyclopedic sources identify a single 2.3-litre six-cylinder type producing 30 hp. The enterprise dissolved in 1908 after only two years. It is cataloged separately from the French engine maker, the British Aster luxury-car company and other unrelated users of the Aster name.
