Engineer Alfred Schwefringhaus, German importer of Foden trucks, introduced Asdomobil in 1913; the name combined his initials with Düsseldorf-Oberkassel. Its unusual reverse-tricycle layout placed two steered wheels ahead of a single driven rear wheel. A 720 cc 6 hp De Dion-Bouton single drove through five speeds and a propshaft. The principal open-cab delivery tricar had a box behind the driver, while a closely related passenger version was also offered. Sources additionally record a few steam vehicles. Production ended in 1914.
