Arzac

Gabriel Arzac built a technically sophisticated small cyclecar at Paris in 1926–1927. Unlike most inexpensive contemporaries, it combined front-wheel drive, independent suspension at all four wheels, a cone clutch and two-speed transmission. Sources list closely related 483 cc and approximately 496/500 cc two-stroke engines, likely alternative versions of the same basic chassis rather than separately named body lines. The advanced concept remained commercially marginal and disappeared after only two years.
