ArtLine Engineering entered Russian racing in 1999 and established a design bureau to move from operating imported Dallara chassis toward domestically engineered cars under the ArtTech identity. A carbon-fibre F1605 was publicly tested in 2004–2005, followed by the championship-winning F1607, Formula Three F24 and P315, and the affordable FP02 Formula Vostok development chassis. Later work broadened into the Evolution sports-prototype/customer series and the turbocharged MARTT road-and-racing project. ArtTech therefore denotes the cars, while ArtLine Racing and ArtLine Engineering remain the team and manufacturer organizations.
