Country: France

Louis-Auguste Antony established Automobiles Antony at Douai in 1921. Its first substantial car used a 1,095 cc Ruby four, followed by a 1,494 cc overhead-cam CIME model commonly clothed as a four-seat tourer and also developed for racing. Smaller 350 and 500 cc Hannisard-engined cars broadened the lower end. An ambitious CIME straight-eight appeared in the 1924 catalog but was never built. Production ended in 1932 after roughly fifty completed vehicles, of which two are reported to survive.
