Amsterdam engineer and former racing cyclist Ferdinant Anderheggen completed his first light car in 1899 and a second vis-à-vis at the Willink brothers' workshop in 1900. A water-cooled 4 hp French Abeille engine drove a patented system of flat belts, pulleys and chains that supplied neutral and two ratios, sufficient for about 40 km/h. After French production negotiations failed, Anderheggen partnered with P. Konings of Swalmen for a third car in 1901 and joined the firm in 1902. Only three cars are individually documented, and no second production model is securely established.
