The American Motor Car Agency began assembling automobiles at Brussels in 1913 under the AMA marque. It imported American four-cylinder chassis in 2.6- and 4.5-litre forms, then localized them with wire-spoke wheels, pointed radiators resembling Métallurgique practice and bodies by Minet Frères. Competition gave the short-lived badge visibility when Schuitten placed second at the 1913 Ostend meeting. Production ended in 1914 as the First World War disrupted Belgian industry.
