Alta began vehicle production at Athens in 1962 with the reliable Sachs-powered 50S motorcycle and related light three-wheel trucks. It designed the substantially larger A700 cargo tricycle in 1967 around the BMW 700's 35 hp twin-cylinder engine and an 800 kg payload. In 1968 Alta acquired Bioplastic/Attica production assets and introduced the Heinkel-powered A200 passenger three-wheeler, retaining Fuldamobil foundations but creating its own body. Production later moved to a larger Elefsis factory and ended in 1977 as the founders shifted attention to the DELCA electrical-appliance business.
