Aeronautical engineer Henri Vaslin established Établissements Alma at Courbevoie in 1926 to build a refined small automobile around an in-house engine rather than a purchased proprietary unit. The resulting Alma Six, or Alma6, was a low two-seat coupé/voiturette powered by a compact pushrod-overhead-valve inline-six of approximately 1.64 litres. Production remained very limited as France's crowded niche-marque sector contracted, and Alma ceased operating in 1929 without another documented model.
