Georg Sorge established the export-minded Allright identity during Cologne's 1890s bicycle boom. Motorcycles followed in 1901 using engines from FN, Kelecom, Minerva, Fafnir and J.A.P.; export machines were sold as Vindec-Special and earned long-distance and Isle of Man TT results. Allright built lightweight automobiles from 1908 to 1913, first a 200 kg motorcycle car and then 960 cc runabout and delivery versions. Motorcycle manufacture resumed in 1923 with two-strokes, larger proprietary-engine four-strokes and the shaft-drive K.-G. inherited from Cito. The wider company and trademark survived in reduced two-wheel activity until 1965.
