Geoffrey Eke founded Allard Replicas at Harpenden, Hertfordshire, in 1994 and worked with Hardy Motors in the United States to revive the appearance of the classic Allard J2X. Dennis Adams designed the new chassis and body, which were offered both as kits and fully assembled cars under agreement with the Allard trademark holders. Sources variously record American V8 or Jaguar XJ12 power, reflecting customer-specific installations rather than separate factory models. Production ended in 1997 after approximately three examples of the sole J2X Replica lineage.
