Alan Beaumont established Albo Engineering at Batley, West Yorkshire, in either 1993 or 1998; published references disagree on the starting year. Cars and kits were marketed as Albo until production ended in 1999. The complete range consisted of the 7, an open two-seat Lotus Seven-style sports car unusual for its aluminum rather than fiberglass body. Ford supplied many components, including available engines and the live rear axle. Approximately eight examples were made, and no additional Albo model is documented.
