Engineer Marcel Alamagny developed a compact experimental car in 1947 from an idea inspired by Gabriel Voisin's 1934 car-of-the-future work. The vehicle had two visually identical ends, a transverse central Simca engine, paired middle wheels and a steerable wheel at each extremity; occupants sat back-to-back around the powertrain. It was displayed around France in 1947 and 1948 and presented to the Society of Automobile Engineers, but no further development or production followed. Amédée Gordini preserved the unique prototype.
