Nanson, Barker & Co of Esholt, previously maker of the Tiny, developed a larger post-war automobile in 1919 and adopted the Airedale identity, formally becoming Airedale Cars in 1922. The 1.8-litre 11.9/12 HP used a Dorman overhead-valve four; the longer-wheelbase 13.9/14 HP added a 2.12-litre Meadows engine. Airedale made most components besides engines in-house and offered two-seaters, tourers, coupés and limousines. High finish brought high prices: roughly fifty-five smaller and thirty-five larger cars were built before liquidation in September 1924. No survivors are known.
