Alan and Glynis Whitehead founded AGM Sports Cars Limited at Barnsley on 16 December 2003. The WLR was its principal road-legal competition-style sports car, using Ford Sierra components with Ford four-cylinder or Rover V8 power; roughly thirty were built. The related Revolution-X appeared in 2005 but produced only one known car. AGM also sold approximately fifty Ron Champion and ten Haynes Roadster fiberglass body packages for customer-sourced chassis, which are distinguished from complete vehicles in the catalog. The company dissolved on 23 December 2014.
