Adem

Adem was the short-lived Italian automobile identity established by Adolf de Martini after he left the Martini company. The venture existed in 1912 and appears to have targeted export, especially the British market. Only one model is documented: an 18 HP car with a 2,900 cc four-cylinder monobloc engine and a gearbox reported with either four or five speeds. The surviving reference record does not preserve a formal type name, bore and stroke, valve arrangement, body catalogue, wheelbase, price, production total or confirmed survivor. It is therefore represented as one descriptive 18 HP four-cylinder family rather than split by the alternative gearbox count. Adem is separate from Martini, whose engines and earlier company history explain the founder's background but do not create an Adem model alias. Automobile production ended within the same year and no successor range is known.
